DAUB has published new "Recommendations BIM in underground construction: model requirements, part 1".

Object definition, coding and characteristics. Addition to the DAUB recommendation BIM in underground mining. Based on this recommendation, a working group "BIM in tunnelling" has dealt with the further differentiation of model requirements especially for underground mining in order to standardize and homogenize the approaches developed in first pilot projects. This document explains the basic understanding of the model structure and is intended to create uniform designations for objects typical of tunnel construction and associated object information. For a clear identification of individual objects within a project, a basic structure for object coding is presented.
