Boßlertunnel, NBS Wendlingen-Ulm, PFA 2.2, Lot 1

The Boßlertunnel will be excavated in the planning approval section 2.2 "Albaufstieg" as part of the new Wendlingen-Ulm line as part of the extension of the "Magistrale for Europe" (Central European West-East Rail Corridor) as a single-shell tunnel (2 tubes) using a tunnel boring machine (EPB-TVM). The tunnels will be constructed with 45 or 65 cm thick reinforced concrete tubbings. The section length per tube is around 8,806 m, with the final drive-up length with TVM still in the final planning and coordination phase. The overlaps vary between 280m (Boßler) and 20m (Winkelbachtal). The Boßler tunnel runs through layers of the brown and white Jura. These are predominantly claystone or marl with sandstone layers. A maximum water pressure of 4 bar is to be expected. Areas of responsibility IMM Maidl & Maidl: Authorized building documentation (BVB), analysis of evidence TVM (Process-Controlling).
